Police in Colorado Springs are investigating a toddler’s death on Wednesday morning, but have released scant details on the case.
Investigators say officers were called out to an address on the 2600 block of Jeffers Way at about 8 a.m. the boy was found unresponsive.
He was taken to a local hospital where he died, according to Lt. Howard Black, a police spokesman.

Police have released few details in the case and say further information won’t be released until an autopsy is complete. The boy’s exact age was not released.
