Heat of the night. On Nov. 28, people living in the 4200 block of south Delaware and Cherokee streets, Englewood, called police after their windows were broken with BB gun pellets. Night vision was used to locate three suspects nearby with a BB gun still emitting heat. The two juveniles and one adult man apprehended admitted to shooting out windows over three nights.
Quite the showman. A man was pulled over in a parking lot in the 700 block of West Belleview, Littleton, Nov. 25 for a broken brake light. He jumped out of his car and ignored orders to return. Once he did get back in the car he continued to be combative with officers. They eventually got him out of the car and searched him, finding two knives despite his physical resistance. The suspect was arrested for failing to comply with a lawful order. He apologized and said he was putting on a show because the Hells Angels were watching.
Dastardly Disney fan. A woman’s storage unit was broken into sometime before Nov. 23 at CubeSmart Self Storage, 7650 S. Broadway, Littleton. The only thing she could positively say was missing was a box of assorted Disney VHS tapes.Laptop lifted. A woman’s laptop was stolen out of her car overnight Nov. 30 while the vehicle was parked in front of her home in the 5400 block of South Huron Way, Littleton. The driver side door is broken and doesn’t lock.
Life savers. On Nov. 30, Englewood Police officers responded to a call of a man not breathing at a house in the 4700 block of South Sherman Street, Englewood, and began performing CPR. They continued until paramedics arrived. Paramedics credited them for helping save the man’s life.
