No angel at CenterFold. On Dec. 8, Denver police responded to an assault at CenterFold Show Club, 3480 S. Galena St. The suspect was intoxicated and was causing problems when he was asked to leave by security. The suspect then punched the security guard in the face and was arrested.
People robbed with knife. Two people called police Dec. 7 after they were robbed at knife point in the 12200 block of East Albrook Drive. The victims said they were arriving home when the suspects approached and produced a knife. They demanded one victim’s purse and both victims’ cellphones.
Party goer really doesn’t want to leave. On Dec. 10, police responded to a report of shots fired in the 5200 block of Vaughn Street. Police learned that there was a house party taking place and that the homeowner had asked uninvited parties to leave. An unknown suspect then fired a gun into the air and pointed it at the homeowner. The suspect then fled on foot.Jail inmates fight. Police responded to a fight Dec. 9 at the Denver County Jail, 10500 East Smith Road. The fight was between inmates during breakfast. After the two exchanged words, one began attacking the other. Neither party was injured and the fight was broken up by jail staff. The incident was captured on video.
Victim stabbed in leg. On Dec. 10, police responded to a robbery where a man was stabbed in the leg in the 4700 block of Broadway. The victim told police he was walking on the street when he was approached by two suspects. One brandished a knife and the other demanded his money. When the money wasn’t produced, the suspect stabbed the man in the leg several times before fleeing.
