Getting your player ready...

If you’re driving on Interstate 70 this afternoon and need a caffeine boost, the Starbucks in Rifle is giving away free peppermint mochas, vanilla lattes and more between 1 and 2 p.m.

It’s part of a new holiday promotion from the coffee chain. For the next 10 days — Christmas excluded — 100 Starbucks stores across the U.S. will host Pop-Up Cheer Parties every day where customers can grab free tall handcrafted espresso beverages from 1 to 2 p.m. local time.

The 100 locations will change daily. They’ll be revealed at  and on Twitter with the hashtags #FindCheer #10daysofcheer.

On Friday, the only Colorado Starbucks on the list was in Rifle, along I-70 between Glenwood Springs and Grand Junction. The address is 900 Airport Road #1, Rifle.

No matter where you are, though, customers can visit participating Starbucks stores to receive a “cheer card” for one of three holiday discounts.
