When the lanes were reopened, some smoke remained visible. The fire started around 2:30 p.m., and the cause is still under investigation, Littleton fire spokeswoman Jackie Erwin said. Everyone was evacuated safely, she said.
The city’s twitter account confirmed that the building partially collapsed. Several units fought the flames, including South Metro Fire Rescue.
