Ethan Horvath is on the move.
The former Arapahoe High School and Real Colorado goalkeeper has signed a 4 ½-year deal with Club Brugge in the Belgian first division, the club announced Tuesday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“I am very happy to announce that I have signed for Club Brugge,” Horvath said in a video posted on the club’s website. “I’m very much looking forward to meeting my new teammates and the Club Brugge supporters next year.”
The 21-year-old goalkeeper got his first cap with the U.S. senior national team on Oct. 8 in a friendly against Cuba in Havana. He posted a clean sheet in a 2-0 win, making three saves. He was the second youngest goalkeeper to debut for the U.S. since 1994.
He previously played his club soccer for Molde FK of the Norwegian first division.
