Passed out in the parking lot. A shopper at Walmart, 5990 Dahlia St., Commerce City, came out to his car Nov. 29 and noticed that someone had backed into it, and that the suspect car was still there, idling. A woman inside the car was unconscious, so that man called police. Officers discovered that the driver of the idling car had inhaled fumes from an entire can of aerosol cleaner and passed out trying to leave the parking lot. She was medically evaluated and ticketed.
Shaken Pepsi. On Nov. 15, someone driving in the King Soopers parking lot, 1575 W. 84th Ave., Federal Heights, narrowly avoided hitting a pedestrian. The pedestrian said something to the driver, who stopped his car and took a shaken bottle of Pepsi and threw it in the bed of the pedestrian’s truck, where it exploded. The suspect drove away.
Apartment burglary. A woman who lives in the 1400 block of West 85th Avenue, Federal Heights, called police Nov. 14 because someone broke into her apartment and stole her laptop and a gaming console. The woman’s dresser drawers were turned inside out, and the TVs were unplugged and moved. Officers found a burglary tool inside the residence.
Overnight damage. Someone called Northglenn police Dec. 5 to report that the passenger window on their company car was smashed out in the 11600 block of Huron Street. There are no suspects.
Stolen motorcycle. On Dec. 6, Northglenn police patrolling the 11300 block of Melody Drive found an abandoned motorcycle in a nearby parking lot. It was found to be stolen out of Broomfield, so it was confiscated. Another damaged car was also recovered nearby.
