A man robbed a bank Wednesday morning in Denver while wearing a bright yellow construction vest.
The robbery happened at about 9:20 a.m. at the Wells Fargo Bank at 8980 E. Hampden Ave., according to a Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force news release.
The robber entered the bank, jumped a counter, grabbed cash and fled on foot.
The robber, described by police as a black man, about 6 feet tall with a medium build, also wore dark clothing and a mask.
A $2,000 reward for information leading to an arrest is offered. Anyone with information is asked to call Denver Metro Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 (STOP), or send a text to 274637 (CRIMES). Title the text DMCS, and enter a message.
