Pinnacle Foods Inc. will cut 27 jobs from its Boulder Brands division, according to documents filed with the state Friday.
In its letter to the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment, it said the layoffs come as a result of its plan to close its 1865 Range St. facility in Boulder, which employs 73 people, by March 8.
It said 46 of those employees would be offered jobs at other Colorado facilities.
Pinnacle officials could not be reached for comment Friday and Boulder Brand officials declined to speak on behalf of the corporate New Jersey-based staff.
The state filing comes after Boulder Brands in August said it would close the facility and move much of its production to Arkansas. The plant now produces Evol and Udi’s products.
