Chad Baluska, who pleaded guilty to participating in the murder of a 61-year-old northwest Denver man, has been sentenced to 30 years in prison.
Baluska, 40, was of the shooting death of Samuel Grady in May of 2015.
Baluska Baluska, who pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, is the last of the three to be sentenced. In May of 2014, Baluska went to Grady’s home on the 4900 block of Green Court, with Grady’s nephew, Eric Fuhs, and Derek Webb. The trio shot Grady and stole his wallet and 1997 Ford F-250 truck.
Baluska was arrested when he was found unconscious in the stolen truck.
In a probable cause statement, Baluska said Fuhs, 26, was having problems with his uncle. When the three went to Grady’s home, Fuhs shot him through the door before they entered.
Fuhs was found guilty of first-degree murder, burglary and aggravated robbery in the killing and has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
In November, a jury found , 29, guilty of felony murder, burglary and aggravated robbery in the slaying in Denver’s Regis neighborhood. In December, he was sentenced to life without parole.
Baluska’s sentence includes an allowance of 612 days credit for time served and 5 years mandatory parole
