Song of the Day
It’s professional news time: This is my last Roundup as a Denver Post employee. Sure, we’ve shared some good times over the 30-some Roundups I put together (, you know, old time’s sake). Sure, my Nancy Reagan joke in that first Roundup may have been in poor taste. And if you’re interested in getting (shorter) emails from me once a week, , which I’ll still write for after I leave.
So. Today’s Song of the Day. It’s my favorite farewell tune. Philadelphia rock ‘n’ roller Waxahatchee recorded it in front-woman Katie Crutchfield’s bedroom, which you can sort of tell, this song isn’t pristine and it wears its mistakes well. . My favorite line is when she talks about being able to let people into and out of her heart with grace. Thanks for listening.
