Police have said they don’t think the swastikas were a threat to a synagogue a few blocks away

Two large swastikas drawn in the snow at a Greeley park have been cleared away.

that someone went out on the thin ice and wiped away the swastikas Monday, a day after residents at Glenmere Park noticed the symbols on a frozen lake. The swastikas appeared to have been made by a single person who shuffled across the ice.

Police had said there was no indication that the 10-foot-by-10-foot swastikas were drawn as a threat to a synagogue located a few blocks away.

Residents have been advised to stay away from the thin ice.
