A 19-year-old man was arrested after he accidentally shot himself in the leg while on a break from his job at a Colorado Springs car dealership, police said.
that police were called to a dealership on the 700 block of Automotive Drive at 1:49 p.m. Tuesday. The employee, Daniel Starkman, was allegedly handling his personal handgun alone in his car when he inadvertently discharged the weapon, said Lt. Robert Weber of Colorado Springs police.
Starkman was taken to an area hospital. He was arrested on suspicion of prohibited use of a weapon, served court papers and released, Weber said.
