Meier Skis has moved to Denver in order to grow and expose the company to a larger audience, according to a statement released Friday.
The new headquarters at 970 Yuma St. includes a bar serving local craft beers where patrons can watch workers make skis and snowboards. The bar itself was created using the wood cores of Meier skis.
The company, which formed in 2009 and employs about a dozen people, moved to Denver from its original base in Glenwood Springs.
