A person was fatally shot Monday evening in southwest Denver, and police have arrested a suspect.
The shooting at an apartment complex happened just before 6 p.m. in the 3000 block of West Colorado Avenue, according to police.
The victim was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead, police said.
An investigation is ongoing.
