“Star Wars: Episode VIII” has a title.
The latest installment in the franchise will be called “,” StarWars.com unveiled on Monday. The title logo features “Star Wars” in black font with a red outline, with “The Last Jedi” in between.
The movie will be Carrie Fisher’s final movie. The actress, who , last year, according to the New York Daily News.
“The Last Jedi” is written and directed by Rian Johnson and is slated for a Dec. 15, 2017 release. It will be followed with “Episode IX,” tentatively marked for a 2019 date.
