One of two brothers dubbed the “Milli Vanilli” bandits was sentenced Thursday to 64 years in prison as a habitual criminal.
Jeremy Ervin, 36, was found guilty by a Denver jury of aggravated robbery on March 8, 2016, according to the Denver district attorney’s office.
His sentence Thursday, as a habitual criminal, included five years of mandatory parole. Ervin has served 1,044 days. His sentence is to run concurrently with another 64-year prison sentence received for another robbery conviction.
Ervin and brother Derrick Ervin, 33, were dubbed the Milli Vanilli bandits because of the wig disguises they wore in some robberies. There are accused of robbing more than a dozen businesses beginning in November 2013.
Derrick Ervin previously pleaded guilty and is serving a 10-year sentence in the state Department of Corrections.
