Keaneu “Dustin” DepeA fight inside a Fort Collins home escalated into a stabbing, and the two men involved were arrested after they were treated at hospitals, police said.
Officers responded about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday to the 3300 block of Dudley Way on a report of a stabbing, according to a police news release.
Police said Benny Martinez, 20, offered to let Keaneu “Dustin” Depe, 18, and Depe’s girlfriend stay overnight in his home. An altercation between Martinez and Depe ensued, and Depe allegedly stabbed Martinez.
Martinez was arrested on suspicion of possession of a weapon by a previous offender, police said. Depe was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault.
Both men were booked into the Larimer County jail.
