Two dogs and a cat died Monday morning in a southwest Denver apartment fire.
The Denver Fire Department says the fire broke out just before 8 a.m. on the 3500 block of South Harlan Street, near the intersection of U.S. 285 and South Wadsworth Boulevard.

Officials described the fire as “small,” but have not said what caused the blaze. No one was hurt.
