A rapidly-growing brush fire in Jefferson County has resulted in evacuation along two roads.

The three- to five-acre fire is burning on a hillside north of Meyer Ranch Park, off U.S. 285, near Granzella Road, said Dan Hatlestad, deputy chief of Inter-Canyon Fire Rescue.

Residents on both Granzella and Rock Ridge roads have been told to evacuate. Hatlestad said he didn’t know how many people are affected.
