The University of Colorado has a new partnership with car-sharing company Zipcar that campus officials say will give students, faculty and staff a new, sustainable way of getting around.
The agreement, announced last week, will bring 10 Zipcar vehicles to campus. The cars can be reserved by the hour or by the day.
The partnership with Zipcar gives CU students and employees a discounted annual membership fee of $15 for the first year and $25 every year after that. A regularly priced membership is $70.
The hourly fee for using a Zipcar vehicle is $7.50.
