Boulder County has created a county government web page with information about resources available for immigrants, and people who work with immigrants, who may be concerned about the implications of what may be coming from the White House and Congress.

“People had reached out for us asking for this kind of information,” Boulder County Commissioner Deb Gardner said Thursday.

Gardner, the chairwoman of the county board, and county officials decided “we might as well have it all in one place” and that puts links and contact information about agencies and organizations that might be useful to immigrants.

“Boulder County is dedicated to respecting all members of our community,” it said in a announcing the new web page on Tuesday.

The county says on another of its web pages — one describing its “vision and values” — that county government services “are available for both documented or undocumented people unless funding is federally restricted. Residents are encouraged to visit our offices and talk with staff members to determine which services will provide the best support.”
