A 1-year-old Boulder girl last seen on Sunday was found Wednesday with her father in Oklahoma, but her mother, a 25-year-old woman, remains missing.
Police say the child, Winter Daisy Mead, was with her dad — 32-year-old Adam Densmore — just outside of Tulsa, Okla., when he was taken into custody by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol on a warrant alleging violation of custody. Details of the arrest were not released.
Winter was unharmed, investigators say, and has been placed in the temporary care of Child Protective Services in Oklahoma.
The mother, Ashley Elizabeth Mead , was reported missing along with Winter after she failed to turn up for work in Boulder on Tuesday. She was last seen on Sunday.
Authorities had said they believed Winter was with Densmore.
