Boulder County crews rescued a teen who fell and on Saturday.
The boy fell 20 to 25 feet while climbing the “Windtower” rock feature.
When rescuers arrived they found him stranded on an outcropping. They mounted a technical rescue and had him down by 7:30 p.m. Saturday, said Sgt. Sam Hard.
“They took him to an area hospital for treatment,” Hard said. He didn’t know what injuries the teen had, but a release on Saturday said he might have broken his arm.
The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, Rocky Mountain Rescue and the Rocky Mountain Fire Authority were all involved in the rescue.
