Jorge De La Rosa signs minor-league deal with Arizona Diamondbacks

De La Rosa compiled an 86-61 record in nine seasons with the Rockies

The Colorado Rockies’ all-time winningest pitcher is headed to Arizona.

The Diamondbacks have signed to a minor-league deal with an invitation to spring training, the club announced.

De La Rosa, 35, spent nine of his 13 seasons with the Rockies, compiling an 86-61 record with a 4.35 earned-run average. He is also Colorado’s all-time leader in strikeouts (985), and second in innings pitched (1141 1/3) and games started (200).

In 108 games at , 100 as a starter, he was 53-20 with a 4.29 ERA.

“This guy has been a bit of a trailblazer, showing people that you can pitch at Coors Field, and doing it better than anybody else in franchise history,” former Rockies manager .
