Denver Mayor Michael Hancock delivers his State of the City address July 11, 2016, on the outdoor plaza at Denver International Airport. Getting your player ready...
Denver Mayor Michael Hancock’s plate of pressing issues in 2017 was already full before new President Donald Trump added a couple more issues.
Hancock sat down with Denver Post TV’s Molly Hughes recently and dove into what Trump’s “sanctuary city” and refugee travel ban orders could mean for Denver. He also addressed several issues that could be the focus of key initiatives at the local level, from how to fill in Denver’s sidewalk gaps, to affordable housing, job creation, immigration and the ever-present challenge of homelessness.
