Police have arrested two male suspects who accosted a woman they spotted in a Parker driveway and fired a gunshot at her early Thursday morning.
The woman was not injured. The names of the two suspects and the woman have not been released. A third possible suspect has not been arrested.
The suspects were driving through the Canterberry subdivision of Parker when they came upon a woman standing in a driveway, according to a Parker police news release.
At least one of the suspects brandished a gun as they demanded money and possibly other possessions from her, the news release says. One of the suspects aimed and fired a gunshot near the woman.
Parker police received an emergency call at 12:30 a.m. from a home on the 11000 block of Birchwood Street. A witness said the suspects fled in a small silver sedan.
Police spotted a silver car while driving to the victim’s home and gave chase. Parker police notified surrounding law enforcement agencies, and numerous officers joined the pursuit. The chase crossed into Aurora.
The suspects stopped their car and took off on foot near Harvard and Peoria in Aurora. Police arrested two suspects but there may have been a third person involved in the robbery.
