Lockheed Martin celebrated Girl Day, a worldwide campaign to introduce girls to the world of engineering during National Engineers Week, with a marshmallow-launching cannon competition at the company’s campus in Littleton on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017.
Engineers teamed up to build cannons for the competition. And a group of local, high-achieving female students from Girl, Inc., visited to help judge the event, while learning about careers in engineering and space exploration.
