A 21-year-old man died early Monday after accidentally shooting himself at a Pueblo motel, police say.
The shooting happened at about 2 a.m. at the Motel 6 on the 4100 block of North Elizabeth Street, on the city’s north side.
Pueblo police say their preliminary investigation shows there were several people at the hotel drinking in a room with guns when the man shot himself.
The man’s name has not been released.
