Bricks and knives. A man and his stepson got into an argument at their home in the 6200 block of Small Drive, Commerce City, and decided to fight outside. The man swung a brick at his stepson, and the stepson blocked the brick with a knife Feb. 7. The weapons fell to the ground and the fight ended.
Pickpocket at lunch. A woman left the Panera Bread at 100 E. 120th Ave., Northglenn after lunch and realized that she was missing her credit cards and $1,000 cash from her purse Feb. 3. Security footage showed that the person sitting behind her had moved her purse and took things from it.
Stolen pistols and safe. Police were called to a woman’s home in the 940 block of West 97th Avenue, Northglenn, because someone broke into her garage through the back door and stole a gun safe with two pistols inside Feb. 9. There are no suspects.
Parking lot bathroom. A man walking though a parking lot in the 10500 block of Irma Drive, Northglenn, called police Feb. 9 because he saw another man standing in the middle of the lot, urinating on the ground. Officers arrived and cited the suspect.
Plate switching. Someone swapped a man’s license plate from his car and put on a different plate while it was parked in front of his home in the 7100 block of East 75th Place, Commerce City on Feb. 8.
Front door thieves. A woman who was expected a package of clothes to arrive at her home in the 11800 block of Fairplay Street, Commerce City, called police Feb. 10 after realizing that someone stole it from her porch after it was delivered.
