Last month, to find local artists to open for the band on its upcoming This House Is Not For Sale tour.

On Thursday, LiveNation announced that Fort Collin’s  had been selected to open Bon Jovi’s Pepsi Center show .

“This is an incredible honor for our band and a testament to our families, friends, and fans for their unrelenting support,” the band said in a statement. “While it’s difficult to express the incomprehensible joy and excitement we’re feeling right now, you’ll feel it radiate through every second of our Pepsi Center performance.”

A little context: The Patti Fiasco’s next show is at the 400-person , where the priciest ticket is $10. With an 18,000-person capacity, their show at the Pepsi Center a little over a month later will be 45 times bigger, and the best seat in the house is $157.25, and that’s without all those infuriating service charges.

The band was picked after promoter LiveNation selected ten finalists from the video submissions it received from Denver area bands. A representative from Bon Jovi picked the Patti Fiasco from those finalists, a process they repeated for each of the 30 cities Bon Jovi will hit on its upcoming tour.
