Chase has been accused of misdemeanor counts of third-degree assault and harassment after the November arrest of an individual and investigation by the Larimer County District Attorney's Office.District Attorney Cliff Riedel said a grand jury returned indictments against Chase on Wednesday for Class 1 misdemeanor assault and Class 3 misdemeanor harassment.
Details of the supposed problematic arrest were unavailable because the arrestee has been named as a witness in the case against Chase, Riedel said.
Chase is scheduled to make a first appearance before Larimer County Judge Kraig Ecton at 8:30 a.m. March 24.
