WASHINGTON — A trio of Colorado Republicans plan to hold telephone town halls on Wednesday night and itap all but certain that U.S. Sen. Cory Gardner and U.S. Reps. Doug Lamborn and Scott Tipton will field questions about their take on the .

Gardner has scheduled his town tall for 7:10 p.m., . Lamborn has planned his meeting for 6:30 p.m, . Tipton has his planned for 5:30 p.m., . All three are in Washington as Congress begins debate on the new health care proposal.

So far, Tipton and Gardner have said little about their take on health care plan released Monday night by Republican House leaders. Democrats have for its potential to leave millions of Americans uninsured; hardline conservatives it doesn’t go far enough in dismantling the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.

Said Tipton in a statement: “My team and I are assessing the bill. My priority is to ensure Coloradans and Americans in all corners of the country have access to affordable health care services.”

Gardner also has taken a wait-and-see approach. “I am currently reviewing the House GOP plan, and I look forward to working with my colleagues toward solutions that benefit Coloradans and Americans around the country,” he said in a statement.

Lamborn has been more supportive. “This is the beginning of the process to repeal and replace Obamacare,” he said, noting “some conservative wins” such as “ending the individual mandate, blocking federal funding to Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers, phasing out Medicaid expansion, reducing regulations, and providing much-needed relief from the most onerous Obamacare taxes.”
