Thank you to Steve Lipsher for hiscolumn on “coal rollers” in Sunday’s Post. I have another name for these black-smoke-belching machines that pollute everything and everyone near them, but you cannot print the name!Modifying diesel trucks to spew smoke should be illegal. This practice has gone on for too long.

The only issue I have with Steve Lipsher’s column is the very end, where he says, “Maybe the best punishment would be a taste of their own medicine: Coal rollers should have the exhaust from their trucks piped inside their cabs.”He is saying we should put all of the exhaust fumes into the cab where they could die from carbon monoxide poisoning.
