Two people were injured seriously and taken to a hospital when a vehicle careened off Thornton Parkway early Sunday, according to Thornton police.
The vehicle was traveling east when it left the road and rolled between Civic Center and Grant Street, said Victor Avila, police spokesman. “Two parties were ejected.”
Avila said the status of the injured “is up in the air.”
A police officer spotted the wreck at about 4:11 a.m.
Alcohol is suspected in the accident.
