McHarassment. On March 4, a customer in the McDonald’s drive-thru, 5235 Wadsworth Blvd., Arvada, ordered 24 chicken nuggets and became angry when the employee working the window only gave her one sauce packet. Once the employee brought more, the customer opened a packet and threw it at the employee getting sauce in his hair and eyes. When the police contacted the suspect, she admitted to the incident and was cited with harassment.

Poor park etiquette. A man at McIlvoy Park, 5750 Upham St., Arvada, on March 5 was reported for starting a physical altercation with others in the park. When police contacted the suspect he told officers he’d had seven shots of Kentucky Deluxe and two hits of meth. He agreed to a breath test and blew a .126 breath alcohol concentration. He was cited with disorderly conduct and taken to detox.

Flight instinct. On March 8, Arvada police were dispatched in reference to an unknown man taking scraps of metal from the backyard of a vacant house in the 7800 block of West 51st Avenue. The man claimed he had permission to scrap the house, but upon further questioning from the police, he fledon foot. When officers apprehended him, the suspect admitted that he didn’t have permission to be on the property and was cited with unlawful entry.

Did I do that? A man driving while intoxicated through the 8500 block of Lamar Drive, Arvada, on March 8 crashed into a parked vehicle and then crashed into a house. When officers arrived on scene, the driver said he couldn’t remember crashing into anything. He also admitted to consuming four martinis just before driving. He was taken to Lutheran Medical Center and cited with a DUI and careless driving.
