Bathroom brawl. On Feb. 28, Lakewood police responded to Walmart, 7455 W. Colfax Ave., on a report of two men fighting. An officer talked to one of the suspects, who said he knocked on a stall door while it was occupied in an effort to get the man using it to speed up the process.  When the man knocked a second time, they began to argue and a racial slur was used. The man using the stall chased the other man out of the bathroom and punched him. Both parties were cited for disorderly conduct.

Dogs on the loose. Police officers responded to a report of dogs on the loose and biting people March 1 in the 8200 block of West 19th Avenue. The officers found the dogs aggressively approaching people and biting several of them before they were corralled. They were taken in for quarantine and the owner was cited.

Door kicked in. On Feb. 28, police responded to the Homestead Motel, 8837 W. Colfax Ave., after two men reportedly kicked in a door. The manager believed the suspects were looking for a man who had moved to another room. They were seen on video kicking in the door and immediately leaving the room. The suspects fled the area in a truck.

Windshield damaged over bill. Witnesses called police March 4 after they observed a group of people damaging a windshield of a car in the parking lot of Greenfield’s Pool and Sports Bar, 3355 S. Yarrow St. One of the suspects was the ex-boyfriend of an employee and was reportedly upset when they were forced to pay a bar tab that was still open. Officers contacted the suspect who said the culprit was actually a woman who he was with who was angry over the incident.
