
A woman who drove the getaway car in a Golden home invasion, in which the wrong house was raided and a resident stabbed, was sentenced Thursday to six years of probation.
Julia Johnson, 19, pleaded guilty Jan. 3 in Jefferson County District Court to accessory to burglary. Johnson was also sentenced to 600 hours of community service, according to the district attorney’s office.
Johnson is one of four convicted in the May 16 .
Tyler Gorringe, 18, pleaded guilty on Dec. 15 to first-degree assault, first-degree burglary and attempted robbery. He was 17 at the time of the attack but was charged as an adult. Gorringe is scheduled to be sentenced April 28.
Caleb Williams, 21, was sentenced March 10 to . Cody Jones, 20, was sentenced in February to 45 years in prison.
A middle school teacher was stabbed and severely injured in the incident. His wife, also a school teacher, and their two small children were home when the home invasion occurred. They were not physically harmed.
The foursome thought they were invading the home of a drug dealer they intended to rob, but they chose the wrong home.
