J.C. Penney has put four Colorado locations on the chopping block as the struggling department store chain moves to close 138 stores nationwide this summer.
The Plano, Texas-based retailer, which announced , released a 岹.
In Colorado, the four stores closing are:
- Fort Morgan: 321 Main St.
- Glenwood Springs: Glenwood Springs Mall, 51027 Highway 6 & 24
- Longmont: St. Vrain Centre, 955 S. Hover Road
- Sterling: Broadway Plaza, 126 Jackson St.
Most stores will begin the liquidation process April 17 and close for good in June, the company said. About 5,000 employees nationwide will be impacted.
