Rhonda Blanford-Green named CHSAA commissioner

CHSAA named Rhonda Blanford-Green its new commissioner on March 15, replacing current commissioner Paul Angelico who is set to retire at the end of the school year.

Blanford-Green was a CHSAA assistant commissioner and associate commissioner from 1996-2012, and was the the executive director at the Nebraska School Activities Association from 2012-15. A 1981 Aurora Central graduate, she is also a member of the CHSAA Hall of Fame, the Sportswoman of Colorado Hall of Fame and the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame.

Blanford-Green, who served as the assistant executive director at the Louisiana High School Activities Association prior to coming to CHSAA, formally begins her role on July 1.
