Boulder County sheriff’s K-9 Fergie .

Fergie, an 11-year-old Dutch shepherd, started with the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office in early 2009, according to a post from the sheriff’s office.

On her first narcotics search, Fergie was able to find a hidden compartment in a car containing cocaine. She also helped track a suspect who had fled from a stolen car in January 2016.

Fergie recently tore her ACL and will retire at home with her partner, Deputy Kelly Boden, and her family.
