Colorado Springs police are investigating a home invasion robbery late Monday night in which two suspects took jewelry and other valuables from a 60-year-old disabled man, officials say.
The robbery happened around 10:30 p.m. on the 400 block of Edgewood Drive, according to a police report.
The victim, who uses a wheelchair, was not injured during the confrontation.
The man told police that he did not know the two suspects who stole his property including jewelry.
The victim told a neighbor about the robbery and the neighbor called police. The investigation is continuing, according to the police report.
