After investigators served a search warrant Thursday in the slayings of two teens whose bodies were found near Fountain, eight people were arrested on unrelated charges.

Multiple units and members of the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 600 block of Yellow Stone Road in Colorado Springs “with regard to the double homicide of Natalie Partida and Derek Greer,” the sheriff’s office said.

Ten people were contacted, and eight were arrested on outstanding warrants and felony narcotics charges “unrelated” to the , the sheriff’s office said.

The following people were arrested: Codey Slape, 26; Jonathan Briggs, 37; Justin Martinez, 29; Kristina Meyer, 38; Marsha Haughton, 25; Chase Girard, 29; Rhonda Keller, 54; Amanda Allen, 28.

The investigation into the double homicide is ongoing, the sheriff’s office said, and additional arrests are anticipated.
