With a personality like Rob Gronkowski’s, it was only a matter of time before the NFL star would find his way into the world of pro wrestling.

Gronk made his debut in World Wrestling Entertainment on Sunday, coming in from the crowd to help Mojo Rawley win the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, Fla.

Late in the match on the floor outside the ring, wrestler Jinder Mahal threw Rawley into the barricade in front of Gronkowski. As Mahal attacked Rawley, Gronk jawed with Mahal when they got into a face-to-face confrontation. Mahal took Gronk’s drink, took a sip and threw it into his chest.

When Mahal entered the ring, Gronkowski jumped the barricade and entered the ring. Gronk got into a three-point stance and leveled Mahal.

Rawley, a former NFL player, would eliminate Mahal and Killian Dain to win the match and the trophy.

A week earlier, Rawley posted a video on Instagram in which Gronk was getting him hyped for WrestleMania.

The WWE and sports celebrities are no strangers, especially at WrestleMania. Last year, NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal was a participant in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal and the year prior, UFC star Ronda Rousey joined The Rock in the ring in face off against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.
