A bank robbery suspect was arrested without incident Wednesday in Highlands Ranch.
Clayton Emery Catlin, 44, appeared in federal court in Denver on Thursday afternoon, according to a news release from the U.S. attorney’s office in Colorado.
Catlin is a TCF Bank at 7206 Federal Blvd. in Westminster on March 24, according to an affidavit. He is on federal probation for a bank robbery conviction about 10 years ago.
If convicted, Catlin faces a federal prison sentence of not more than 20 years and up to a $250,000 fine.
The arrest was made by FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force and the Douglas County Regional SWAT Team.
