Threatening the trash carriers. On March 22, Lakewood police charged a man with disorderly conduct after he was observed by police harassing a trash truck that was going down his street in the 9200 block of West Wesley Drive. The suspect was shouting obscenities at the truck and at police when contacted. He believed it was illegal for the trash truck to have an alarm sounding when it was in motion. The truck workers had continuously been harassed and asked police to accompany them on this street. One of the workers also had video of the suspect throwing a golf ball at the truck.

Transit rider cited. A man was ticketed March 21 after he was unable to provide proof of fare when approached by RTD security in the 1200 block of Wadsworth Boulevard. The suspect had previously been cited for fare evasion and was not allowed on RTD property until July because of an assault charge.

Windshield damaged, roommate suspected. On March 21, a woman called police after noticing vandalism to her car in the 12100 block of West Exposition Drive. The woman told police that she was on probation and her former roommate was doing drugs, so she moved out to not get into trouble. She said her roommate was accusing her of stealing her marijuana and threatened to break her windshield before she noticed it broken.

Church windows broken. A woman called police March 21 after she noticed damage to two double-paned windows at Atonement Lutheran Church, 6281 W. Yale Ave. The windows appeared to be shot out with a BB and had shattered. When looking at the first window damaged, she another person at the church noticed the second window had been broken.
