Longmont police are investigating after a vehicle was damaged Friday when someone strung barbed wire across Sugar Mill Road.
Cmdr. Joel Post said police believe about 30 feet of wire had been strung about 3 feet above the road in front of the old, abandoned sugar factory. He advised people to be careful driving along the road between Alpine and North 119th streets.
