A , which ended in a crash injuring a family, faces 29 charges related to the crime spree.

Adam Fulford, 33, appeared via video call from the Larimer County Jail for a hearing on Tuesday, and was read 29 charges related to a when he fled police who attempted to arrest him in a Fort Collins apartment, according to District Attorney’s Office spokesman Ray Daniel. Those charges include three counts of attempted murder and multiple allegations of misdemeanor child abuse, vehicular assault, robbery with a deadly weapon, aggravated robbery and felony menacing.

Fulford allegedly fled in a taxicab, shot its driver in the foot and drove away from police into the Horsetooth Reservoir Area the night of March 30.

A 14-hour manhunt near the reservoir then ensued during which a helicopter and more than 75 law enforcement agents failed to find Fulford until he re-emerged the morning of March 31 after stealing a Toyota Prius at gunpoint. He then allegedly fled down Taft Avenue and crashed into a Subaru driven by Tara Hildebrand carrying her two children, all of whom were seriously injured but are recovering.
