Kevin Simpson reported on Kathy Myers and her struggle to find two physicians willing to participate in her end-of-life decision. Thanks to Tom Martino and 9News, Kathy could die with dignity, as media coverage aided in locating a physician.
Continued media coverage is essential as it raises awareness about this important issue. My hope is that this issue will continue to receive coverage and physicians willing to participate can provide contact information to connect them with the individuals requesting their end-of-life service.
Thank you for providing awareness and informing the public of the struggle Herb and Kathy Myers endured while executing their rights under Colorado’s End of Life Options Act.
