If you’re all settled on the idea of moving to a ranch but you don’t like the density you’re seeing in those age-55-plus ranch neighborhoods, CalAtlantic Homes has something to show you today at Inspiration, the master-planned community south of E-470 at the Gartrell Road exit. CalAtlantic’s home designs at Inspiration are all single level, on wider sites than you may be seeing elsewhere, and all have a full-wide three-car garage, even some four-cars.
“Our home designs in Inspiration are all ranch, and they’re the epitome of luxury,” said Dan Nickless, Denver division president. “Our attention to detail, along with the community master-planning you’ll see, is going to resonate with home shoppers.”
Nickless says buyers who have discovered CalAtlantic at Inspiration are reacting very favorably to CalAtlantic’s lot sizes — averaging around 8,000 square feet, in a community where trails and open space give a lower-density feel to begin with, and where residents have a new pool club, plus parks and trails already open on site. As if on cue, a buyer who lives in Castle Pines walked into CalAtlantic’s four ranch models and said he’d be bringing his wife back for a look this weekend. “This is an education for us,” he said.
The couple hadn’t found what they were looking for closer to I-25 and Lone Tree, the visitor said, and had had no idea how much Inspiration and its surroundings offered. He complimented CalAtlantic on the quality feel of the floor plans, on the garage sizes and on how accessible the area is from the I-25 corridor. (My drive out from the Tech Center was about 16 minutes.)
“You’re also going to find huge advantages here over any resale ranches you’ve been looking at,” says Nickless, “starting with the fact that you’re not going to have to deal with multiple offers. And you’re going to get energy performance and interior features way better than most resale homes show.” That applies, he adds, to a selection of quick delivery ranches that CalAtlantic has ready or near-ready in Inspiration.
As an example, there’s the 4A03-D three-bedroom/three-bath ranch thatap ready for move-in, with 1,793 square feet of finished space on the main level, along with another 995 square feet finished in a day-lit walkout level. It has a gourmet kitchen with gas cooktop, French door fridge, upgraded cabinets and slab granite tops, along with a large covered deck sized for outdoor entertaining. The walkout level has a recreation room, game room and full bath, and the price is $519,900, ready now.
CalAtlantic’s sales reps will point out the new Inspiration Club with resort-style pool, the Douglas County schools in Parker, and the dining and shopping choices between Southlands in Aurora and Parker’s Old Town. From I-25, take E-470 east past Parker Road to Gartrell; head south a mile to Rockinghorse Parkway, turn left a block to Del Norte.
